How Do I Update My Billing Email and Access Past Invoices?
To update the email address BidWrangler bills you at, contact helpdesk@bidwrangler.com for verification, then log into the BidWrangler Customer Portal to view and download past invoices.
If your BidWrangler billing email address stops working (for example, your old mail server or domain is retired) or you simply need invoices routed somewhere new, contact BidWrangler support at helpdesk@bidwrangler.com to have the address updated and verified. Once the new address is active, you do not need to wait on support to resend every past invoice one at a time. You can log into the BidWrangler Customer Portal yourself with that email address to view and download your full invoice history on demand.
What "Billing Email" Means on Your BidWrangler Account
Your primary billing email is the address BidWrangler uses to send your subscription invoices and account billing notices, and it is the login credential for the BidWrangler Customer Portal. This is different from the invoicing and settlement email addresses covered in How to Use a Different Email Address to Send Invoices and Settlements, which control where your auction invoices and seller settlements are sent to your own bidders and sellers. If you are trying to change where your bidders receive their auction invoices, see that article instead. This article covers the email address tied to your own BidWrangler account billing.
When You Need to Request a Billing Email Change
Request a billing email update any time your current billing address stops working, such as a retired domain or decommissioned mail server, or when you want billing notices sent to a new address, such as a new bookkeeper, accountant, or a different inbox your team monitors more closely. A common symptom is simply not receiving an expected invoice: if you notice you have not received a BidWrangler invoice in longer than your normal billing cycle, check whether your billing email address is still valid before assuming the invoice was never sent.
Requesting a Billing Email Change
Changing the primary billing email on your BidWrangler account is not a self-service setting inside the admin portal. Because this address is verified on BidWrangler's side before it is used for account billing, any change has to go through BidWrangler support.
Email helpdesk@bidwrangler.com from your BidWrangler account or an authorized contact on the account.
Include your business/account name, the old billing email address (if it still exists), and the new billing email address you want used going forward.
A BidWrangler support representative will confirm the request and verify the new address on our end.
Once verified, BidWrangler's billing team updates the address on your account so future invoices and billing notices go to the new email.
Support will let you know when the change is complete and confirm you can use the new email to log into the Customer Portal.
Viewing and Downloading Past Invoices in the BidWrangler Customer Portal
Once your billing email is updated and confirmed, you do not need to ask support to resend every historical invoice individually. Log into the BidWrangler Customer Portal with your current billing email to view your full invoice history and download copies yourself.
Use the Customer Portal link provided by BidWrangler support (sent as part of your billing email confirmation, or available on request from helpdesk@bidwrangler.com).
Enter your current billing email address when prompted.
Follow the verification step sent to that email address to complete login.
Once inside the portal, locate your invoice history to view past invoices.
Select any invoice to download a copy for your records.
If you have not received a Customer Portal link, or you are unsure which email is currently on file, contact helpdesk@bidwrangler.com and support can confirm your current billing email and resend the portal link.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change my BidWrangler billing email myself in the admin portal?
No. The primary billing email is verified by BidWrangler before it is used for account billing, so changes go through support rather than a self-service settings toggle. Email helpdesk@bidwrangler.com with your old and new addresses to request the change.
Will BidWrangler resend every past invoice after I update my billing email?
Not automatically, and it generally is not necessary. Once your new billing email is verified and active, log into the Customer Portal with that email to view and download your invoice history yourself, rather than waiting on support to resend invoices one at a time.
What is the difference between my billing email and my invoice/settlement email addresses?
Your billing email is the address BidWrangler uses to invoice you for your BidWrangler subscription and to log into the Customer Portal. Your invoice and settlement email addresses control where your own auction invoices and seller settlements are sent to your bidders and sellers. These are separate settings.
I stopped receiving BidWrangler invoices. What should I do?
First check whether your billing email address is still active, especially if you recently changed mail providers or retired an old domain. If the address no longer works, email helpdesk@bidwrangler.com with your account name and a working replacement address so support can verify and update it.
Do I need a password to log into the Customer Portal?
The Customer Portal uses your verified billing email address plus an emailed verification step to confirm it is you, rather than a separate password you set up in advance. If you run into trouble logging in, contact helpdesk@bidwrangler.com.
Who can request a billing email change on our account?
Request the change from your BidWrangler account or from an authorized contact on the account so support can confirm the request is coming from someone with authority over billing. Include both the old and new email addresses in your message to helpdesk@bidwrangler.com.
