Can my customers place a prebid?

Before an auction begins, bidders are able to place a prebid, which functions as their own max bid once the auction begins. 

When bidding is enabled for the auction, the max bids will bid against each other, and the highest max bid will persist in the auction.

Bidders will see the option to prebid during the preview period of a timed auction, or during a timed-to-live auction on items that are not yet accepting bids.

Upon clicking the prebid button, bidders will then be prompted for their max bid:
