How to Change the Display Name on Emails Sent from Your Platform
When your platform sends emails—like bidding notifications, invoices, or seller settlements—the display name shown to recipients is determined by the settings of the email account used to send these messages. By default, this name might appear as the first part of your email address (e.g., “support” from support@example.com) or the first name associated with the account.
To customize this display name, you’ll need to adjust the settings within your email service provider. Below are step-by-step instructions for the most common providers:
Gmail (Google Workspace or Personal Gmail)
Log in to your Gmail account on a computer.
Click the gear icon in the top right corner and select “See all settings.”
Navigate to the “Accounts and Import” tab.
In the “Send mail as” section, locate the email address you want to update and click “edit info.”
Enter your desired display name in the provided field.
Click “Save Changes.”
Note: This change will affect all emails sent from this Gmail account.

Outlook (Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com)
For Outlook Desktop App:
Open Outlook and click on “File” in the top left corner.
Select “Account Settings” and then choose “Account Settings” again from the dropdown.
In the “Email” tab, select your email account and click “Change.”
In the “Your Name” field, enter the new display name you wish to use.
Click “Next,” then “Finish,” and restart Outlook to apply the changes.
Note: If you’re using a Microsoft Exchange account, you may need to contact your Exchange administrator to change your display name.

Yahoo Mail
Log in to your Yahoo Mail account on a computer.
Click on your profile name in the top right corner and select “Account Info.”
In the new tab, click “Personal Info.”
Click the “Edit” button next to your name.
Enter your desired display name and click “Save.”
Note: Changes may take some time to reflect in outgoing emails.
