How do I move an unsold lot to a new auction?
If you have unsold items in a completed auction and want to add them to a future auction, you can use a bulk item action to create a duplicate.
Note: This walkthrough will describe how to 'duplicate' the item(s) rather than move them, since items can not be moved from a completed auction. This is to preserve bid history, and seller settlements.
To duplicate an item:
Go to Items
Use 'Filter by Auction' and choose the completed auction
Select the unsold items you wish to duplicate using the checkbox
Click the 'Selected Items' drop down in the top-right corner
Click 'Duplicate/Move Items
In the next screen:
Choose 'Duplicate' (items can not be moved from a completed auction)
Choose the title of an upcoming auction (in the example below, the title is 'New Auction'
Choose the appropriate options
You can choose to duplicate only the basic information, or all details
To assign a new Lot ID, you can choose to use the next available, or assign new numbers
Click Execute
After executing, you'll get a pop-up window asking you to confirm:
Next you'll be taken to the Bulk Item Action Logs screen. This shows a list of all other bulk actions you've performed, and the most recent will be at the top.
This screen will also show the progress in the 'Items processed' column, and if you refresh your browser you'll see when it's completed, though it typically only takes a few seconds depending on how many items you are moving.
Once it has finished processing all the items, you can return to your auction and check the duplicated items in the 'Review' tab:
